Food Drive Volunteers Needed

Saturday, June 24, 2017, 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM

We are in dire need of volunteers to support our food drive Saturday, June 24! The agency’s biannual food drive helps to feed the many families and single participants living in our emergency shelter. Volunteers support the food drive by collecting much-needed donations from community members.

The food drive is in its 21st year! So no hard sell required. Community members know who we are and look forward to giving to our emergency shelter each summer and winter! Volunteers simply greet community members as they walk into the stores and hand our needs list to those who are interested; they also retrieve donations and place them on the back of a Mac Haik truck. Volunteers who opt to work at the food pantry help to unload, sort and stock donations.

No matter where you chose to volunteer – please know you ARE making a difference and your support MATTERS to the agency and the clients we serve!

Would you consider volunteering for 2.5 hours at one of the following sites?
