Alliance for Children Everywhere (ACE)

Description of Ministry
Alliance for Children works in Zambia to build strong communities by creating jobs and providing emergency care, protect orphans though crisis nurseries while they await adoption, educate children, and support the local church as it builds the first Zambian foster care program. Zambia has one of the largest orphan crisis in the world. Through the work of ACE, families who would normally be at risk of abandoning children because of a financial inability to care for them are finding the resources needed to have a stable income, care for their children, and educate them. All of this is done in the name of Christ and with a focus on discipleship.

Description of UBC Involvement
UBC is working to support the goals of ACE by sponsoring children waiting; to be adopted, sponsoring students, and going on short term trips to aid in their work.
