I've been at University Baptist since June of 2015, and I have served at several churches in Houston, Atlanta, and Fort Worth. My wife Kat and I have been married since 2005 and have a son, Jack who was born in 2015. Kat and I met at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary where I was completing my Master of Divinity degree. In 2014, I completed my Ph.D. in Theology and Apologetics from Liberty Divinity School. It has been an incredible blessing to develop ministries that help, grow, and sustain faithful followers. Outside of my church work, I'm a published author and researcher whose work has been featured in Christianity Today, NPR, The Atlantic, Relevant Magazine, and other media outlets. I have also presented at numerous academic conferences. My scholarly pursuits focus on the institutional development of Christianity in the first two centuries.
