We believe that all children learn best through "hands-on" activities and our interactive curriculum reflects this belief. Our programs and curriculum are Christian oriented, but do not emphasize a particular denomination, thus we are able to stress those elements of faith which are common to all Christians. We encourage each child to develop socialization skills that will assist them in interacting in a school environment and encourage an appreciation and an awareness of God's love.
The Wee Learn Program is the basic foundation of our curriculum for all ages. Each unit of study includes a simple Bible story, scripture verse and is supplemented with additional age-appropriate activities in each individual classroom.
All our classrooms are arranged into age-appropriate, child-oriented "learning centers" through which the children rotate in small groups. As children grow in our program, the classroom environment changes to meet their needs for structure, independence and learning. In addition to the exciting activities in our classrooms, we feel that it is essential to offer music, science, Spanish, and chapel each week as scheduling allows to our older children (age 2 ½ and up). Our younger classes (age 2 and below) receive music twice each week.
