Spiritual Formation Group: "Living the Mission" (Focus, April 2015)
On Sunday evenings since January 25, UBCers have joined Pastor Rick Carpenter to experience the transforming power of the Holy Spirit and to “live the mission of God.”
More than a Bible study, this group, which has been reflecting on the writing of classic and modern authors, has developed a sense of “unity and purpose,” says Rick. Group members read and share their responses and their level of sharing or intimacy “is very different.”
These classes are a place where spiritual transformation and intimacy are as deep as one wants it to be. They are offered to anyone every spring and fall. Come and examine the mission of God, and learn how to seek His kingdom in everyday life.
