Rick's Sabbatical
Rick Carpenter’s passion about spiritual formation is known by most of us as he coordinates our apprentice groups each Spring. His love for his family is also no surprise. So how fitting that he is taking the opportunity for both during his sabbatical this summer.
He began his time away with family in Kentucky and is now helping in Dallas tend to grandkids during some medical issues with his son and daughter-in-law. He will finish up June by attending the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship annual gathering in Atlanta.
July will include a trip to see his mother in L.A. (Lower Alabama as Rick likes to say) and retreat time originally planned for Colorado but now possibly in Houston. A trip to London and time at the spiritual community in Lee Abby will complete the month.
August will include a trip to North Carolina to see friends and retreat time at Ridgecrest Conference Center.
Please be in prayer for Rick that the Lord is present in his journeys and his relationships are rich.
