When I began volunteering with Driving with Care in 2003, I had little idea the impact it would have on my life. Fourteen years and hundreds of patients later, I can say it has given me more compassion, social awareness, and opportunity to meet people from all strata of society. It has enhanced my Christian journey by providing a way to put my faith into action. I've matured mentally and spiritually in these sometimes challenging interactions. Cancer patients need much support; it is a privilege to help them and others navigate the health care road.
