Three years ago, we were led to pursue adoption as the way God would build our family. Understanding that there are many foster kids waiting for a home, we opened ourselves to local siblings who were older. In May 2016, we brought into our home 8-year-old Deztinee and 2-year-old Calib. In February 2017, we were led once again to bring another into our growing family – their biological sister, 7-year-old Dezira. Day by day, through many ups and downs, God is showing us what “family” really is and what he wants it to be!
