On sending his disciples out to proclaim the Kingdom of God, Jesus let them know that the journey would not always be easy. Yes, it would see miracles and victories of various sorts, but it would also see rejection, mockery and even persecution. As one writer stated, loving your neighbor is a dangerous act. But for those who have truly committed to follow Christ with their whole life, how can we travel any other road?
