“Your Serve” Ministry Report
For the past year, Your Serve has focused primarily on helping new members find a place of service at UBC. However, beginning in April, Your Serve expanded its focus to include all UBC members.
Your Serve is also conducting a survey in all adult WBS Groups to discover how many UBC members are currently serving in a UBC-related ministry. Members are being asked to list the UBC-related ministries in which they currently serve or have served during the past year. They are also being asked to list any place in the community they volunteer in a service opportunity that is not directly affiliated with UBC. Additional data is being collected regarding the frequency of their service and the location of their service, i.e. on campus, community, city, and global. The survey will provide a baseline that will help measure the success of the Your Serve ministry as additional members find their place of service. The results of this survey will be collected and reported in the next edition of the Focus Book.
