Weekday Ministries (Focus, Spring 2017)

    Family Pizza Night

Over 300 hundred pieces of art were on display for families and friends!

Every year we celebrate Family Pizza Night and every year we thoroughly enjoy our time with the children, their extended family, and alumni!

    Science Class

Our preschoolers learned about the life cycle of the butterfly in Science class from their Science teacher, Ms. Kasie.

We watched the metamorphosis from caterpillar to chrysalis to butterfly, and then the whole school got to watch as we released the butterflies!

Such an amazing example of God’s creativity in creation.

    Mustard Seed

Once a week during Chapel we walk through stories in the Bible. One week we learned about the parable of the Mustard Seed and each child took home a bag full of mustard seeds.

    Vision Weekend

Vision 2017.....a wonderful weekend for our Students! One of my favorite things to do is to see our UBC students work on the playground that they once played on as UBC Weekday preschoolers.

    Monthly Missions

Our sweet preschoolers made 45 Valentines for Seniors at Brookdale Senior Living!! We are learning how to show Christ’s love to others!

Our preschoolers have partnered with the UBC Military Ministry to make cards for the patients at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Parents and children had the opportunity to make the cards together....to pray for our troops, and to pray for those recovering in the hospital.

    Flowering of the Cross

Our Weekday preschoolers took an old rugged cross and turned it into a beautiful cross, one flower at a time.

This cross is symbolic of the grace that we are offered and the true beauty of our hope in Christ!

After all the preschoolers left, some sweet ladies from our church, led by Jill Tatum, took the flowers and created individual bouquets that were delivered by our deacons to the widows of our church.
