The Bridge (Focus, Spring 2017)
The 9:30 WBS class, Believers’ Odyssey, had the opportunity to help the Bridge a shelter for mothers and children who have survived domestic violence. The Seabrook Lucky Trails Marathon needed volunteers, and The Bridge was helping recruit for the event. Volunteers worked on food preparation and serving. From 6 am-3 pm, thirteen volunteers tag teamed to meet the need. The Bridge is a recipient of the proceeds from the event. It was a great experience, and the class is eager to help the Bridge again in various ways.
