Communications Team (Focus, Spring 2017)
UBC’s communication team has been busy this spring with several large projects and the addition of a new team member. We said goodbye to Courtney Barringer who took a position at USRA after working with us for several years and then said hello to Johanna Eckenrode, a Baylor grad, and UBC’s new communications specialist. Johanna has a BA in marketing with an emphasis in marketing for nonprofits. Her ability to combine a passion for helping nonprofits use social media effectively and a strong Christian walk have already made her a great fit both on our team and at UBC. Be sure to say hi and welcome to Johanna.
As a part of our “spring cleaning” efforts, the communication team has been working with the rest of the UBC staff to redesign our worship bulletin and UBC’s website. The new worship bulletin will feature a slightly different but more contemporary, streamlined style that will also be more cost effective. We plan to launch the new website on June 19, the week after VBS. The new design will also be noticeably different both in design and functionality. We will keep you up-to-date with new features and ways to connect, participate and give more effectively as we serve God together here at UBC.
