Navajo Church Build
Location: Four-Corners region of the US-Southwest.  Usually in Arizona.

Description of Ministry and UBC Involvement
The longest-running trip of its kind at UBC (30-years and counting), the Navajo Mission Team works with already-existing Navajo congregations to provide that congregation with a physical worship space. In a matter of two weeks, UBC sends an advanced team (the first week) and the larger build team (the second week) to construct a church building that will be handed over, no strings attached, to the local pastor and church. The days are long and hot, but the results are big. Volunteers grow close to one another and they leave a testimony of sacrifice and generosity to the local congregation. In addition to the construction work, UBC hosts a vacation bible school for the local children onsite and a basketball clinic for older children and youth.

Trip Dates: Usually the second or third week of June each year.
Cost: $1,600
